Welcome to Madison Christian Community!
An Ecumenical Partnership
The Madison Christian Community is a unique community rooted in a
groundbreaking partnership between two very different congregations. We
do almost everything together including education for all ages, service
in the wider community, care of our land and our environmental
stewardship efforts. We even worship together regularly throughout the
year. Guests will encounter a vibrant community of faith that values
relationships and community engagement and that actively lives out its
faith every day of the week. Explore our website to learn more about our
two individual congregations and about our partnership efforts and visit
us on Sunday morning.

All are Welcome!
In the Spirit of Jesus, we affirm diversity
in the Body of Christ as gift from God, including all ages, races,
abilities, religious and denominational backgrounds, gender identities
and expressions, and sexual orientations. Advent is a Reconciling in
Christ congregation and Community of Hope is Open and Affirming.
As a congregation that has committed to offer sanctuary, we trust
in God embracing all of us regardless of ethnic or national identity,
citizenship status, legal standing, or criminal history.

Summer Worship Schedule 9:30 am
Join us for worship during the summer months on Sundays at 9:30 am.
Adjustments in MCC COVID Mitigations
Dane County remains in the Medium Risk category although COVID case numbers
have decreased slightly over the past couple of weeks. The Regathering Task
Force Steering Group is trying to balance the risks of COVID against hearing
difficulties. Accordingly, we have decided to make one adjustment in our
indoor worship guidelines: pastors can unmask during the sermon when behind
the lectern and at least 15 ft. from the congregation. We are asking all
other worship leaders, cantors, and members to wear high quality masks
(i.e., N95 or KN95) at all times during indoor worship. Limited singing and
safe communion will continue. Mitigations for outdoor worship remain the
same: parishioners are asked to wear high quality masks with social
distancing between pods. Speakers and musicians can unmask while speaking or
performing with the proviso that they maintain a safe distance from
parishioners. We continue to have concerns for older MCC members and members
who are immune compromised. Click
here for more details on the current situation.
